Jeong-Bin (Hannah) Park is a Ph.D. student in the department of Foreign Language Education at The University of Texas at Austin. Her research interest focuses on computer-assisted language learning & teaching and online discourse. She holds an M.A. in Foreign Language Education with a thesis topic in computer-mediated discussions, and a B.A. in English Language & Literature. She has taught ESL/EFL in South Korea and the United States for more than 10 years at various levels. She loves swimming and classical music.
Crystal Kusey, Treasurer

She studied in Spain and Argentina and taught EFL in South Korea. She is particularly interested in the topic of learner motivation as it pertains to second language acquisition. In her free time she enjoys swimming and swing dancing.
Miranda Tacoronti, Professional Development Opportunities Officer
"Miranda Tacoronti moved to Austin, TX, in August, 2010, to pursue her Master's degree is Bilingual/Bicultural Education. Hailing originally from Georgia, where she got her Bachelor's degree in Foreign Language Education, Miranda loves learning about different cultures and trying to understand other languages. She hopes to enter into the field of bilingual elementary education in the years following her Master's degree in an effort to promote bilingualism, biculturalism, and biliteracy."
Kaitlyn A Spronz, Social Events Officer
Kaki is an M.A. student of Foreign Language Education with a focus on teaching Spanish as a foreign language. She received her B.A. from Hardin-Simmons University in Spanish Education and is Texas State certified to teach Spanish grades EC-12. She is interested in studying abroad and it's effects language learning. In her free time, Kaki enjoys swing dancing, being outside, knitting and reading!

Jayoung Song is a Ph.D. student in Foreign Language Education at the University of Texas at Austin. She holds an M.A. in Foreign Language Education with a thesis topic in reading anxiety and reading comprehension, and a B.A. in English Language and Literature. She has taught EFL in South Korea, Thailand, and Japan for more than 6 years at various levels. Her research interest includes reading, language acquisition, and learner motivation as it pertains to second language acquisition.
Justin Parry is currently an M.A. student in the Foreign Language Education program. He is originally from Utah. He is studying Israeli Hebrew, partly because he lived in Israel a number of times growing up and loves the language and culture. He also served in Iraq as part of the Army Reserves. His research interests include motivation in students, language acquisition, language learning strategies, etc. Justin received his B.A. in Linguistics. He is married with a child on the way, and loves to travel and expand his knowledge.

Amy Joseph is a second year Master's student in the Foreign Language Education department. She works teaching English to adults, and hopes to continue this once she graduates. Her research interests are related to adult education: she is especially interested in helping students develop agency in and out of the classroom and the role of language education in addressing wider social issues. She is currently
serving as one of the TexFLEC coordinators as well. In her free time, she enjoys West African and Indian dancing, learning languages and
cooking.
