2013 Orientation Write-up

What a wonderful way to start off the 2013-2014 academic year! Today, FLESA hosted a lunch at the orientation for new FLE students. It was a great opportunity for FLE faculty, current FLE students, and GSC members to meet and mingle with the new master's cohort. Pizza was eaten, lively conversations were had, and there was plenty of laughter. We hope that all the attendees had a good time, and that the new students felt welcomed into the program.

The event would not have been as successful without the participation of current FLE doctoral and master's students, and members of the Graduate Studies Committee: Dr. Dale Koike, Dr. Per Urlaub, Dr. Richard Meier, Dr. Diane Schallert, and Dr. Jacqueline Henkel. And of course we cannot forget our dedicated FLE faculty, Dr. Elaine Horwitz, Dr. Veronica Sardegna, and Dr. Diana Pulido. Thank you to everyone who joined us for lunch today!
